Our senior grad student Ilsa has accepted a post-doc position in the Shokat lab at UCSF! Ilsa plans to defend her dissertation (which she promises to start writing soon, probably) in January 2019 and start at UCSF in the spring where she will continue her work in Chemical Biology.

Former Cohen lab research technician Madison is headed to the Kacar lab at the University of Arizona. There she will be conducting research in synthetic Biology, molecular evolution, and astrobiology. She will continue on at UA for her PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology.
